Mondays 12:00-1:00pm

Roll, Release, Renew

Myofascial release meets yoga in this therapeutic practice to wind down your Monday night. This class teaches students how to enhance your body's natural healing capabilities through gentle, specialized stretching of connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. We use tennis balls and a variety of yoga props to explore different myofascial release techniques for the whole body, optimizing range of motion, strength, and flexibility. You will leave feeling physically and mentally at ease, allowing both body and mind to work (and rest!) more efficiently.

Midday Revival

This lighthearted vinyasa class is purposefully designed to give you the opportunity to play, reset, nourish, and break away from your to-do list. Options are given to amplify poses or indulge in refinement with a softness and ease. Open to all abilities and experience levels, this full-body, midday yoga flow will strengthen, revitalize and stretch you out.

private yoga

75-MINUTE INITIAL LESSON: $105

5-LESSON PACKAGE: $500 ($100 per session)

10-LESSON PACKAGE: $950 ($95 per session)

There are many different reasons students seek out private yoga lessons and I am happy to work with those individuals to provide a safe and accessible yoga experience. Whether just starting or restarting your practice, recovering from an injury, have a busy schedule that doesn’t line up with group class times, or are seeking specialized instruction to advance your practice, private lessons are for you!

Working one-on-one gives students hands on instruction that is catered to your personal needs and goals.

I am happy to travel to your home, office, or other outdoor area within St. Louis City / St. Louis County for an additional $10 travel fee. Otherwise, I have access to private practice space at Golden Door in Brentwood or we can arrange for lessons to be held virtually over Zoom. Each 75-minute session will be completely tailored to your needs and goals for that day. Some days that may look like guided breathing, meditation, and gentle stretches; other days we may work on strength building and mobility exercises; while some days can be more energizing working towards a peak pose or inversion - whatever you want to do!

I allot 75 minutes for each session to give us time to chat, connect about your goals for that day, and to get organized and centered. There will usually be about 60 minutes of actual practice time.

I am happy to provide resources outlining what we accomplish in each session in the form of written notes, audio recording, photos, or videos, as requested.

testimonials

Leslie O.

“Hanna is my favorite teacher. She is great at walking you through a pose with multiple options to increase the challenge or to just stay were you are and to be ok with it. Her flow is always well connected and I find the transitions from one pose to the other seem natural. I really find the essential oils she uses at the end of class are beneficial for me bringing me back to the place of calmness when I happened to get a whiff (I move it from my palm to my neck) during my day. Her closings are always a gentle reminder of our goal from the beginning of class. All around my favorite yoga instructor to practice with”.

Matt F.

"As someone new to yoga, I would highly recommend Hanna [for private lessons]. She took the time before we started the lessons to answer all of my questions. She is very patient and friendly. I like the way she has explained yoga so far; the styles, poses, flows and the mental and spiritual aspects. She has a calm demeanor. She has also been mindful of my existing shoulder injury to make sure that what we're doing isn't aggravating it."

Wendy P.

“Hanna is a fabulous teacher! She guides you through all of the postures giving breathing instructions and individualized alternatives. She helps students align the yoga practice to a deeper connection with the inner self, unlike many other yoga classes I have taken.”

Fiona & Bill B.

"Hanna was fantastic. Patient, enthusiastic and very professional. We are hooked!"

Jennifer T.

“If you have not taken yoga from Hanna, do yourself a favor and make it happen ASAP! She is such a thoughtful, generous teacher and aways builds her classes with relevance to the season or other things going on in life. It’s a joy and a privilege to practice with her!”
